How to play
- Sit in a circle.
- One person gives the person next to them a genuine, specific compliment.
- That person says 'thank you', then gives the next person their compliment.
- Keep the chain going until it reaches back to the first person.
- No deflecting — you must accept the compliment fully.
Example round
- 'You always make people feel included when you walk into a room.'
- 'Your laugh is genuinely infectious — I laugh harder because you're laughing.'
- 'You give the most thoughtful advice without making people feel judged.'
Tips
- Specific compliments hit harder than generic ones. 'You're kind' vs 'You remembered my coffee order for 3 months straight.'
- Great closer for a long game night — ends the evening on warmth.
