How to play
- Player 1: 'I'm going on a trip and I'm taking a [item].'
- Player 2 repeats the full sentence, adding their own item at the end.
- Each player repeats everything said before, in order, then adds one new item.
- Forget an item or mix up the order — you're eliminated.
- Last player who can recite the full list wins.
Example round
- Player 1: '...a rubber duck.'
- Player 2: '...a rubber duck and a taxidermied squirrel.'
- Player 3: '...a rubber duck, a taxidermied squirrel, and my landlord's guitar.'
- Player 4: '...a rubber duck, a taxidermied squirrel, my landlord's guitar... and... I'm going on a trip and... wait.'
Tips
- Pick absurd specific items — they're easier to picture and harder to forget.
- After 8+ items, everyone creates memory tricks. Compare them after the game.
