How to play The Silent Actor
No words. Just you and your body. Pure charades. Act out a person, animal, job, movie, or phrase — completely silently. The group races to guess. First correct guess wins.

How to play
- One player is given (or thinks of) a person, animal, job, movie title, or phrase.
- They must act it out with no sounds whatsoever — no humming, no mouthing words.
- The group shouts guesses freely and rapidly.
- First correct guess scores a point for the guesser.
- Set a 60-second time limit — if nobody guesses, the actor reveals and no points scored.
Example round
- Acting out 'dentist' — opening mouth wide, pretending to drill, wincing in pain
- Acting out 'Titanic' — arms wide on an imaginary bow, then sinking dramatically
- Acting out 'anxiety' — everyone immediately knows. Too real.
Tips
- For abstract concepts, act out something that represents it rather than the thing itself.
- Speed matters — the faster you commit to a gesture, the faster people guess.
